Mark Porter

Mark Porter is one of Europe's most acclaimed editorial designers. For three decades he has created game-changing projects and helped publishers and broadcasters adapt to the evolving media landscape. He worked as art director on iconic magazines like Colors and Wired, before becoming Creative Director of The Guardian, where he introduced a design philosophy and visual identity which helped the Guardian become one of the world’s most recognisable news organisations. In 2010 he set up Mark Porter Associates, working for a list of high profile clients across print, broadcast, and digital media. Mark's work has been been awarded all the top honours in the industry, including World's Best Designed at SND, Gold at SPD, and the legendary D&AD Black Pencil, and has been shown in numerous international exhibitions and galleries, including the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Design Museum in London.
