I began working with stone over 15 years ago, initially making granite kitchen worktops. I quickly fell in love with the workshop environment and discovered a deep passion for creating and making by hand. Over time, that connection grew into a fascination with stone itself, and today both the material and the process are equally important to my practice.

Since then I have trained as a stonemason, letter carver, historic restoration carver, and sculptor. This broad training has given me a unique understanding of both traditional craftsmanship and contemporary sculpture. I’m continually driven by the challenge of developing new skills and pushing my work further.

After living in Southeast Asia for two years, I developed a strong interest in geometric pattern and sacred geometry. Combining this with carving opened up a completely new direction in my work and is now what I am best known for. Using traditional hand tools and British stone, I create precise geometric sculptures that explore rhythm, balance, and presence through precision. The level of accuracy required is incredibly demanding, but that pursuit of refinement is central to my practice.

My work has recently been exhibited at Collect Art Fair at Somerset House and Future Icons Selects during London Craft Week, and I was honoured to receive the John Smedley Craft Prize in 2022. I now live in Hampshire, England with my husband and son, where I spend as much time as possible carving in my studio. I exhibit internationally, sell work through galleries, and take on private commissions.
